The raffle gives folks a chance to win a great prize and all proceeds go to Johnson County Arts & Humanities Council and will be used for the benefit of Bluegrass Camps for Kids. Your participation will help ensure future camps to foster acoustic music education among our youth.

3 for $10, or 7 for $20.

We are pleased to announce Hansen Music of Billings, Montana has donated a beautiful Morgan Monroe “F”Style mandolin, model MM-300TB.  It has a hand carved graduated spruce top with maple back and sides. The maple neck has a rounded ”V” profile and an extended scooped rosewood fingerboard.  With mother of pearl position markers and a compensated adjustable ebony bridge, this is a popular instrument with traditional players as well as “Newgrassers." It comes with a Stone ST-MPC-FA heavy duty case with a hand tooled wester style motif and plush interior with built-in hygrometer. And Hill Music Company of Casper, Wyoming has donated an Oscar Schmidt model OM40 “F” style mandolin with hard-sided mandolin case. It has a select spruce top with maples sides and back. The neck is mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. It has a retail value of $279.95.

You can get your raffle tickets at the Festival Merchandise and Hospitality Booth where the instruments will be on display. Tickets are 1 for $5, 3 for $10, or 7 for $20.
 
The drawings will be held on Sunday just before the last show. You do not have to be present to win an instrument; just make sure your name and phone number are on the back of your tickets and legible so we can call you and make arrangements to get the instrument to you.
